Rules for visiting Clergy, Volunteers and Professionals.
All professionals, clergy and volunteers may visit at reasonable hours except during meals and visitation. During certain hours of the day, depending on programs and court you may be asked to return at another time.
** Emergency exceptions may be granted after further review from the officer in charge of the shift.**
Meals
Breakfast 7:00 am to 8:00 am
Lunch 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Dinner 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Visitation
Tuesday 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Thursday 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday 2:00pm to 4:00pm
*Reminder you or an items needed in your professional capacity may be searched by any officer for the safety of you, the officers working, and the inmates. This is for security purposes only.
RULES.
#1 Pocket knifes, matches, lighters or other implements that could be turned into or used as a weapon are strictly prohibited within the facility and can be left with the Correctional staff.
#2 No smoking, eating or drinking is allowed while visiting any inmates.
#3 No purses or coats are permitted in the conference rooms while you are in with any inmate(s). All brief cases will be searched or may be left with a Correctional Officer to be placed in an area only accessible by staff members.
#4 All material that is to be given to any inmate must first be checked out and approved by any staff member, before being given to an inmate.
#5 All female counselors, volunteers, or clergy are required to wear slacks or pants, when visiting with male inmate(s).
#6 No items are to be taken from the inmate to be conveyed outside of our facility.
(This pertains to personal letters, personal items the inmate may have, or articles of any sort including county property).
All professionals, visitors and counselors must be:
#1 Approved by the classification officer before they may visit or see any inmate(s).
#2 All clergy must be on an approved Jail Ministry List before they can visit any inmate(s). This may be a 90 day pass or on Jail Church Services Rotation List.
#3 Any professional visitors that are not known by the staff must show proper photo I.D. before they will be allowed to enter.
*All professionals, clergy, and counselors will visit in conference rooms when available. In the case an inmate is violent or has shown signs of aggression towards staff or anyone else, you may be asked to visit that inmate in a visitation booth for your safety and the safety of the Correctional Staff.
*Professionals, clergy, and counselors will abide by any rules set forth by the staff, to insure safety for all that may be involved.
Any questions or comments to these rules can be addressed with any Correctional Staff member, Correctional Officer in charge or the Classification Officer. By abiding by these rules we hope to insure your visit to be safe, comfortable and professional.
