The clerk had just entered the store to open for business when a white male wearing dark clothing and a ski mask approached the door. The clerk informed him she was not open for business yet but the man pushed the door open and forced his way inside. Once inside he man told he clerk to ‘give me everything.’ A few moments later the man ran out and into a field behind the store. Nothing was taken.
No weapon was seen and none was mentioned, although the suspect kept his hands in his pockets.
The clerk told deputies that the same man, wearing the same clothing and ski mask, had been in the store the previous morning about 5:00AM, went into the restroom and then left without saying anything. The clerk also thinks she recently saw the same man walking in the area of Harrison Street in Port Clinton.
