HEROIN DRUG ARREST

        The Ottawa County Drug Task Force and the Port Clinton Police Department, through a joint investigation Tuesday evening, arrested and charged Dakota Young, 18 years of age, who resides on Slemmer Portage Road in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

        Mr. Young was found to have in his possession an unspecified amount of heroin, prescription narcotics and currency which was seized as evidence.

        Mr. Young was charged with the following: Drug Abuse - Heroin, Drug Abuse, Schedule II narcotics, Permitting Drug Abuse in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments and Drug Paraphernalia.

        Mr. young is being held in the Ottawa County Detention Facility without bond pending arraignment in the Ottawa County Municipal Court.
