NEWS RELEASE BY SHERIFF ROBERT L. BRATTON
July 17, 2007
On Thursday, July 12, 2007 interviews were conducted for the positions of Sergeant and Corporal in the Corrections Division. The Sergeants position was created by the retirement last year of Sergeant Tina Evans. The Corporals position has been vacant for some time.
I am pleased to announce that Deputy Rachel Goetz will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the Corrections Division. Sergeant Goetz was hired as an Ottawa County corrections deputy in January of 2005. She recently completed her basic peace officer training at Owens Community College where she earned top marks in several areas.
