GALLARDO PLEADS GUILTY TO PORT CLINTON RAPES
On Tuesday, February 22, 2005 Joseph M. Gallardo, appearing in the Common Pleas Court of Ottawa County, plead guilty to one count of Rape, a felony of the first degree, and one count of Burglary, a felony of the second degree. He faces a prison term of up to eighteen years.
Gallardo had been indicted for the Port Clinton and Portage Township rapes that occurred early in 2004. A joint investigation by Ottawa County Sheriff and Port Clinton Police Detectives lead to Gallardo's indictment for both cases.
Joseph Gallardo is scheduled to be sentenced on April 15, 2005 at 10:00AM.
