Ottawa County Foreclosure Prevention Task Force Phone Bank
The Ottawa County Foreclosure Prevention Task Force is sponsoring a free ‘Phone Bank’ night on February 27th from 6:00 to 8:00PM in the Emergency Operations Center in the basement of the Ottawa County Courthouse. Taxpayers having trouble making mortgage payments, questions regarding collection practices (do’s and don’ts) or anything related to a current or potential foreclosure will have the opportunity to call in (anonymously or by name) or come in and meet with one of our local representatives, FREE OF CHARGE. The representatives will include attorneys, bankers, United Way and WSOS counselors, elected officials and sheriffs’ deputies.

The Task Force is urging taxpayers to take advantage of this free service to get questions answered and information to deal with the process of foreclosure.
