Harris Township Man Facing Charges of Rape and Assault
A 22 year old Harris Township man is facing charges of Rape and Assault after an incident that occurred in the Village of Elmore over the weekend, according to Prosecuting Attorney Mark Mulligan.
Travis J. Ross, 1028 Graytown Road, Elmore, is being held in the Ottawa County Detention Facility in lieu of a $110,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in the Ottawa County Municipal Court next Monday.
According to reports of the Elmore Police Department, Ross entered an Elmore residence sometime Saturday night, and sexually assaulted a minor female in the home. He is also charged with assaulting another minor in the residence. Ross was arrested without incident several hours later.
Mulligan said he expects to present the case to the Ottawa County Grand Jury next week.
