TWO ARRESTED FOR MINI-STORAGE BREAK-INS

On August 23, 2007 at 1:28Am Deputy Zach Bowling was on routine patrol checking businesses in the Bay Township area. He began checking Gottron’s Mini-Storage located at 4415 W Fremont Road when he noticed a green Dodge Mini-van parked on the property. The engine was running and the side sliding door was open, and on further inspection, he found tools on the floor, including a pair of bolt cutters, and cold beer cans inside.

Deputy Bowling and Deputy James Karr began searching the area and found that locks had been cut off several of the storage unit doors. As they began searching those units they located two suspects inside one unit hiding under items stored in the unit.
