Deputy James Reagan Promoted to Patrol Division
On Friday, May 12, 2006 Sheriff Robert Bratton announced that Deputy James Reagan will be promoted to the Patrol Division. Deputy Reagan will fill the vacancy created by Deputy James Hanney who has been assigned to work in Portage Township.
Deputy Reagan began his career with the Ottawa County Sheriffs Office on May 23, 2001 as a deputy in the Corrections Division. He is a member of the Sheriffs Office Special Response Team, works the Marine Patrol, is on our Grant Writing Committee and is currently undergoing training to become a firearms instructor. Prior to his employment with the Sheriffs Office Deputy Reagan served five years in the United States Army as a paratrooper and Chinook helicopter crew chief. He is 1989 graduate of the Oak Harbor High School and completed his Ohio Peace Officer Training at Terra Community College in 2001.
Sheriff Bratton, Chief Deputy Riedmaier and Captain Levorchick are proud and excited to have Deputy Reagan as part of our patrol division and wish him well in his new assignment.
