DRUG TASK FORCE SEIZES MARIJUANA PLANTS
On Tuesday, July 1, 2008, officers from the Ottawa County Drug Task Force, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and the Carroll Twp. Police Department executed a search warrant at 6404 N. Humphrey Rd., Carroll Township. Officers seized seventy (70) marijuana plants of various heights, scales, an undetermined amount of US currency, firearms, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. The marijuana will be sent to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation lab. Once the chemical analysis is complete, the case will be forwarded to the Ottawa County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Charges of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of criminal tools, and possession of a prohibited firearm while under disability are pending against a 60 year old male.
