Deputy Zach Bowling Promoted to Sergeant in Patrol Division

    Sheriff Robert Bratton has announced the promotion of Deputy Zach Bowling to Sergeant in the Patrol Division. Sergeant Bowling replaces Sergeant Jeff Hickman who retired in August of 2009. The promotion became effective October 25, 2009.

    Sergeant Bowling began his career with the Ottawa County Sheriffs Office in January of 2003 in the Corrections Division. He completed his Basic Peace Officer Certification in April of 2004 and his Corrections Officer training in November of 2004. In May of 2006 Sergeant Bowling was promoted to the patrol division.

    The Administration of the Sheriffs Office congratulates Sergeant Bowling for his promotion and is confident he will do well in his new assignment.
