Sheriff Bratton To Hold Public Meetings
As Sheriff, I would like to advise the citizens of various issues involving the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. Prior to and immediately after my election, I laid out many concerns regarding the restructuring of the agency, changes in personnel, review of policies and procedures, and the direction in which I want to take the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. I would like to sit down with residents and members of the business community to discuss these topics.
During the last week of August, I will be conducting meetings, one in the West End and the other in the East End of the County. My main focus will be discussing the finances of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, a matter that should be of interest to all. I will also present the direction in which I intend to take this agency in the upcoming years.
Please note the two locations for these meetings:
· East End: Monday, August 29, 7:00 p.m., at the Danbury Township Hall, 5972 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road, Marblehead.
· West End: Wednesday, August 31, 7:00 p.m., at the First Federal Bank, State Route 51 and Main Street, Genoa.
The public is urged to attend one of these meetings, which will last approximately 1-1/2 hours. Refreshments will be served, so please RSVP by calling 419-855-3720 or 419-862-1859.
This will be a good opportunity to get an overview of the newly restructured Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, and I look forward to meeting with our citizens.
